FESTIVAL MAP

GETTING HERE

The Singapore Sea Regatta is committed to contributing to a greener environment and reducing its environmental footprint. While conveniently accessible by various modes of transport, we encourage you (spectators and participants) alike to embrace sustainable travel options, especially during the event when traffic congestion is anticipated. Opting for public transport, such as the MRT and Buses, not only ensures a smoother journey but also significantly reduces carbon emissions, helping us collectively create a more sustainable future for Singapore.

Via the MRT:
Stadium MRT Station (CC6) is the nearest station which exits directly into the Singapore Sports Hub.

Bus Services 11:

Alight along Stadium Crescent (Bus Stop No. 80199), which is directly outside Singapore Indoor Stadium.

For more information, please refer to the MRT network map, or SBS Transit Bus Guide.

IHHSSR FESTIVAL

The Festival Village is the heart of the SSR. This year, it features a central booth by our title sponsor, IHH Singapore, as well as educational booths from SingHealth's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Health Promotion Board and ActiveSG. Visitors can also enjoy free mammograms courtesy of SATA CommHealth, interactive displays, and fun-filled activities in collaboration with BCF, among many other attractions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is the IHHSSR?
IHHSSR is a dragon boat race that aims to raise awareness for important healthcare messages. The 2024 edition of the IHHSSR draws focus on breast cancer awareness, and promotes active ageing.
  • When is the IHHSSR 2024?
IHHSSR 2024 will be held on the 14 and 15 September 2024.
  • Why breast cancer awareness and active ageing?
Breast cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer among women in Singapore, accounting for 29.7% of all cancers diagnosed in females. Early detection, screening and treatment is vital in saving lives. In line with MOH’s action plan 2023, IHHSSR pulls focus onto active ageing, an issue gaining relevance with our ageing population. Bringing in athletes who exemplify the ideal that “age is just a number” truly showcases that living an active and healthy lifestyle can add many healthy years to one’s life. We hope to inspire more to age actively!
